ZAK+FOX introduce FANTASMA

For London Design Week 2020 at Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour, George Spencer Designs were joined by Zak Profera, Creative Director and founder of ZAK+FOX.

This Access All Areas event was a celebration of the New York based fabric designer’s latest collection, FANTASMA.

With interior designer and acclaimed design blogger, Fabrice Bana on hand to ask questions, Zak discussed the collection and the design journey which helped create fourteen new fabrics.

FANTASMA, a textile and wallpaper collection, is based on an imagined Italian ghost story. Each design helps bring to life an enticing tale of witches, spirits and lost souls.

The eclectic mix of printed fabrics, linen velvets and woven silks that form FANTASMA have been created with the perfect balance of faultless, thought provoking design and exceptional craftsmanship. Traits that run throughout all of the ZAK+FOX collections, helping the brand to become one of the go-to fabric lines for luxury interior designers both within the US and the UK.

One key design from the collection, Cimaruta, is a striking linen velvet and wallpaper design. Evocative of the herbal folk charm of its namesake, it features bold flora with sumptuous, earthy tones, available in three colourways.
